The lineup for April’s Garden State Comic Fest in Atlantic City continues to impress, with geek icon Summer Glau just added to the festivities.

What started as a comic convention that was flying under the radar of most geeks, Garden State Comic Fest has quickly become one of the biggest events of the spring that no one should miss.

The fine folks at GSCF have continued to expand and announce new guests almost daily. This is all in addition to a cosplay parade and costume contest, a show by Cybertronic Spree (the best Transformers cover band there is) and a Master Class by comic book legend Jim Steranko.

How could this show get any better?

I got two words for you: Summer Glau.

GSCF announced this week that none other than Summer Glau would be attending both days of the show and will be available for photo ops and autographs.

As any self respecting geek knows, Summer Glau has become one of the most recognizable and prolific actors in Hollywood, working on a number of iconic science fiction television series over the years. Her many credits include Angel, Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well as recurring roles on Dollhouse, Alphas and Arrow.

In addition to acting, Glau has also done voice over work for a number of animated series including Superman Apocalypse and Peter Panzerfaust.

And of course, there is Glau’s now legendary guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory, which gave geekdom the classic line:

You really have to wonder how many times she’s going to her that over the course of the weekend.

Glau will be appearing both days and will be signing autographs and taking pictures as well as selfies with her fans. For the price of $40 you can either get an autograph that includes an 8×10 photo or take a selfie with your phone, the choice is yours.
